Embracing His Grace
Have you ever felt this way
Like your heart is lead astray
Have you ever felt so empty yet so full at the same time
Fear, stress, anger, selfishness having gotten the better of me and mine
Have you ever had to step out and start again
when life throws a curve, a dead drop, a spin
Have you ever felt completely dry
like a dessert without moisture left to die
There is a message you need to hear
there is only one that dries every tear
There is only one who really can relate
He has felt it all, your every state
He lived his life fighting off both physical and spiritual storms of raging wind and rain
Dying on a cross for us was not enough, he chose to rise up and with us remain
For even though he ascended into heaven his spirit is always there
It is beside us, beneath us, with in us, living hope available everywhere
It does not matter who we are, what we do, how deep a pit we have buried ourselves in
He is still God and our Holy loving father, who over came death to conquer all our sin
So my dear one how ever you feel, how ever awful things around you appear
there is hope, there is peace, there is joy and victory to be found instead of fear
There is healing, there is truth, there is unconditional love, there is grace
Embrace your Jesus as he holds tight to you, hear his voice, see his face

Amen!
ReplyDeleteI really should have let anyone here erase their own comments instead of me doing it holding a grudge or at least put their comments back where it belongs. That is called practicing the golden rule.
ReplyDeleteIts true.
ReplyDeleteIts too bad that on the internet that people cannot put their comments back where it was. But of course that could never happen unless they wrote their comments on a piece of paper.
ReplyDeleteChristians can be evil even on the internet when they choose not to tell people about their rules and regulations about commenting when they should be practicing the golden rule but do not. It would be interesting to see what would happen on the internet if people could restore their own erased comments what exactly that would look like. That would be interesting to see.
ReplyDeleteWhy is that?
